The BRS has appointed constituency in-charges for all 119 Assembly seats to run a digital membership enrolment and renewal drive, with training at Telangana Bhavan and an IT hand assigned to each segment, according to multiple reports published on May 21. The move follows a May 13 party meeting led by K. Chandrasekhar Rao that decided to digitise membership and train two workers per polling booth — 71,310 cadres across 35,655 booths, per the plan on record.
Operationally, this is a rebuild from the booth up: digital onboarding via a party app, district-level training camps, two workers per booth, and fresh enrolment plus renewals. Telangana Today also carried partial lists naming in-charges in erstwhile Khammam and Warangal; the wider exercise is described as covering all 119 constituencies.
Predictably, the ticket-rumour factory kicked on. A report says party circles are reading these organisational roles as hints about future Assembly candidates, naming several appointees in the chatter. That is interpretation, not a candidate list. No BRS statement reviewed links the in-charge role to a ticket, and none of the sources publish an official 119-name order.
So the verified part is clear: cadre digitisation at scale, with named in-charges to deliver it. The rest is whispers. The Congress and BJP will try to spin this as panic or pre-selection; the record says it is groundwork. After the year they’ve had running Telangana from Delhi talking points, actual organisation must feel unfamiliar.
