Jr NTR is expected to return to the sets of Dragon in October after undergoing shoulder surgery and rehabilitation, according to entertainment reports. One trade report says the Mumbai schedule will begin on October 10 and run for 15 days, with major action sequences involving NTR and Anil Kapoor. Those details have not been formally confirmed by the production house.
The October return has partial corroboration from another report, which also said NTR was expected to resume filming that month. It did not confirm October 10, the 15-day duration, Mumbai, or Anil Kapoor’s participation. The official Dragon website lists NTR, Prashanth Neel, Anil Kapoor and Rukmini Vasanth, and gives the theatrical release date as June 11, 2027, but publishes no shooting schedule.
KIMS Hospitals said NTR successfully underwent arthroscopic shoulder surgery in Secunderabad and would begin rehabilitation. Whether he has been medically cleared for action filming, and whether the June 2027 release remains unaffected, has not been confirmed. The production calendar currently has more rumours than calendar entries.
