Fauzi drops December 3; date still missing
Producer Y Ravi Shankar has confirmed that Prabhas and Hanu Raghavapudi’s period action drama will not arrive on its announced release date. The next one is apparently still in post-production, along with the calendar.

Prabhas’ Fauzi will not release on its announced December 3, 2026 date, producer Y Ravi Shankar has confirmed. The film, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, has been pushed back, but the makers have not announced a replacement date.
Speaking at The Paradise pre-release event, Ravi Shankar called the film “a next-level movie” and said audiences had not seen Prabhas “look so grand since Baahubali”. He also apologised for moving the release. The sales pitch remains grand; the calendar has been quietly removed from the room.
The producer did not specify whether the delay is due to visual effects, post-production, shooting, scheduling or another reason. Reports have mentioned possible pending work and a potential 2027 window, but neither has been officially confirmed. Mythri Movie Makers’ December 3 date is gone. The replacement date is still waiting for its own announcement.
