Fauzi moves back; Baahubali comparisons move forward

Prabhas’ Fauzi will not arrive on its announced December 3, 2026 release date, producer Y. Ravi Shankar said at a September 21 event for Nani’s The Paradise. The makers have not announced a new date, leaving the calendar with one less promise and the usual amount of promotional confidence.
Ravi Shankar said the film was being “pushed back a little bit” and apologised for the delay. He described the Hanu Raghavapudi-directed period film as “next-level” and said audiences had not seen Prabhas look so grand since Baahubali. Those are the producer’s promotional claims, not independently measured facts about the film’s budget, scale or eventual reception.
Fauzi is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers. The available reports do not establish whether filming is complete, how much post-production remains or whether the film will move to 2027. The announced date has moved; the replacement date is still waiting for its own announcement.
