Fauzi postpones December date, keeps 2027 guessing

Prabhas’ Fauzi will not arrive on December 3, 2026, after producer Y. Ravi Shankar confirmed the postponement at The Paradise pre-release event on September 21. The makers have not announced a new release date, so 2027 remains a possibility rather than a booking.
The original date was announced in July with the slogan “THE REBELLION BEGINS”. The rebellion, apparently, needs more time. Ravi Shankar said the team was pushing the film back and apologised for the delay, while describing it as a large-scale film that audiences would cherish. Reports have linked the delay to pending production and post-production work, but the makers have not published a detailed schedule.
Fauzi is directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and produced by Y. Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni under Mythri Movie Makers, with Prabhas, Imanvi, Mithun Chakraborty, Jaya Prada and Anupam Kher in the reported cast. The December release calendar may now shift, although the status of individual replacement titles has not been formally established. For now, Fauzi has a postponement, an apology and no new date—the standard paperwork of a film still being finished.
