IFFI opens media window; Telugu lineup remains a mystery
Media professionals have until October 15 to apply for IFFI 2026 in Panaji. The official pages have not yet announced any Telugu selection or showcase.
IFFI’s media accreditation window is open from October 1 to 15; no Telugu showcase has been announced.
Media accreditation for the 57th International Film Festival of India opens the door to Panaji from October 1 to 15. The festival itself runs from November 20 to 28, 2026, according to the Press Information Bureau and the official IFFI website.
Applications are being accepted through the official PIB accreditation portal. IFFI is organised by the National Film Development Corporation under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, with the Government of Goa and the Indian film industry. The paperwork is ready; the programme is less talkative.
That matters to Telugu filmmakers, technicians and journalists, who can apply or submit films through the relevant official processes. But the consulted official material names no Telugu film, filmmaker or Telugu showcase for the 57th edition. Accreditation also does not, on the available information, guarantee access to every screening, interview or industry event.
IFFI says Indian Panorama selection materials are due by October 15. For now, Telugu cinema has an application window, not an announced spotlight.
