The BRS says KCR handed over cheques totalling Rs 2.25 crore — Rs 1 crore each for Sudarshan Reddy’s two children and Rs 25 lakh for his mother — “as announced”. That is the party’s on-record claim, with recipients and amounts spelled out.

The report also mentions villagers raising a pending kitchen-shed issue en route, which again rests on their account alone.

What is not yet on the record: where exactly the Rs 2.25 crore is sourced from, when it was first announced, and whether the cheques have cleared. If the Congress or BJP want to argue with that, they can start by matching the figure — and then explain why they didn’t do it first.
