KCR’s comeback plan has no Assembly notification

KTR says KCR will return only as chief minister; the record currently shows an MLA, a prediction and a 23-page political charge sheet.

Inside a Telangana Assembly chamber, an oversized empty chief minister’s chair stands beside a records desk with a small MLA roster sheet, while a charge-sheet bundle and performance brochure sit nearby.

The official record currently lists an MLA, while the chief ministerial return remains a political forecast.

K.T. Rama Rao has forecast K. Chandrashekar Rao’s return to the Telangana Assembly — but only in the chief minister’s chair. “KCR will come to the Assembly, but he will come only as Chief Minister,” KTR was reported as saying. No public statement by KCR making that pledge was located in this research.

The official Telangana legislature page currently lists KCR as the BRS MLA from Gajwel and KTR as the BRS MLA from Sircilla. So this is a political forecast, not a change in KCR’s Assembly status. The chair, for now, remains occupied by the facts.

KTR’s BRS has also released a reported 23-page charge sheet against the Congress government’s 1,000-day record, alleging failures on guarantees, jobs, farm-loan waivers, agriculture, welfare, borrowing and governance. The Congress government’s own releases present a different account, citing farm-loan waivers for about 25.35 lakh families, roughly ₹36,000 crore in Rythu Bharosa payments and 70,000 government jobs filled. Those figures are official claims, not independent audits. The Congress has supplied its version; the charge sheet remains a political document until tested line by line. For now, KCR has an MLA entry, KTR has a prediction, and the Congress has another performance brochure.
