KCR’s padayatra has a slogan, not a schedule
Reports say the BRS chief proposed an irrigation mobilisation after the Assembly session. The route, date and leadership remain unannounced.

K. Chandrashekar Rao chaired a BRS Legislature Party meeting at Erravelli on September 6 and directed the party’s MLAs and MLCs to raise public issues and challenge the Congress government in the Telangana legislature, according to reports from the meeting.
The reported agenda included fee reimbursement, farmers’ problems, power supply, loan waivers, 22(A) lands, Singareni and employees’ demands. KCR was also reported to have proposed taking the fight over the Kaleshwaram and Palamuru–Rangareddy projects to the public after the Assembly session. The Congress government has not publicly answered the irrigation allegations cited in these reports.
Several reports attribute to KCR a plan for a padayatra involving one lakh farmers. But there is no official BRS release, schedule, route or primary recording confirming those details. One report also says it remains unclear whether KCR or KTR would lead it. KTR has separately announced a proposed Kodad–Haliya farmers’ march if a water-release schedule for the Nagarjuna Sagar Left Canal is not announced by September 14.
For now, the padayatra has a reported intention, a proposed number and no timetable. The Congress government’s answer is missing from the itinerary too.
