KTR asks for land records; Congress brings allegations

Ahead of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s proposed Sircilla visit, BRS working president and Sircilla MLA K. T. Rama Rao has asked the Congress government to publish a white paper on development in the constituency and produce records for its 8,000-acre land allegation.
KTR asked for the location, mandal, village, survey numbers, extent and ownership of the land. Revanth has been reported as telling the Assembly that 8,000 acres of assigned land were transferred in Sircilla and that roughly 2,000–2,400 acres had been recovered. The figures differ across reports, and the research contains no Assembly transcript, recovery orders, land records or names of alleged beneficiaries. The allegation remains an allegation, not a completed file.
KTR also sought timelines on weavers’ dues, yarn subsidy, Nethanna Bima, farmer payments, loan waiver, welfare schemes and pending infrastructure works. He said the Congress had been evading answers for nearly three years. The state government has not publicly answered the open letter in the material reviewed.
For now, Sircilla has been offered a political number and asked to supply the survey numbers itself.
