KTR detained, Congress brings the sequel

BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao was detained while travelling towards K. Chandrashekar Rao’s Erravelli farmhouse and taken to Bowenpally police station on Tuesday, September 8, according to multiple reports. BRS leader T. Harish Rao and other BRS MLAs were also detained during the wider confrontation.
BRS supporters gathered outside the station and demanded Rama Rao’s release, raising slogans including “Down Down CM”, according to a report. Congress workers later arrived, leading to verbal exchanges. The same report said stones and sticks were thrown by both groups, but no police statement, FIR, injury record, verified video or named eyewitness account was available to confirm that narrower claim.
Police deployed personnel and prevented further escalation, the report said. The legal basis and duration of Rama Rao’s custody have not been published. Nor has the Congress government publicly explained why he was stopped. It has, however, found time for a political confrontation outside a police station. The paperwork remains harder to locate.
