A local report says a private venture carved a cement road through government land beside the Medchal–Kishtapur main road in Survey No. 145, that officials dug it up after a complaint, and that the road is still being used because it wasn’t fenced. It pegs the land at “2.29 guntalu” and nearby rates at Rs 80,000–1,00,000 per sq yd, implying roughly Rs 100 crore in value if “2.29” means 2 acres 29 guntas. An HMDA master-planning page lists layout references, but without village/approval numbers it cannot be tied to this parcel. A RERA record mentioning Survey No. 145 is for Bachupally, not Medchal.
The arithmetic might check out if the area is 2 acres 29 guntas (~13,189 sq yd at the stated rates). If “2.29 guntas” was literal, the crore claim collapses. Until revenue and planning documents are put up, readers are being asked to take a nine-figure allegation on faith. Telangana deserves better than faith-based land records.
