Mucherla told 300 acres go; papers, later
Officials at a village meeting said 300 acres would be taken for Future City. The record that actually does that is still not on the table.

A gram sabha in Mucherla, Kandukur mandal, Ranga Reddy, was told that 300 acres would be acquired for Future City, according to a Telugu report that lists the officials present — Kandukur RDO Jagadishwar Reddy, Ibrahimpatnam ACP Raju, the tahsildar and TGIIC staff — and even spells out survey numbers 115, 121, 122, 131, 135, 137, 138, 141–154. The same report notes farmers, including former sarpanch Lakshman, opposed giving up their land. It does not attach a government order, a notification number, minutes, or a land schedule. A separate June 5 report said the state initiated acquisition of 301 acres near Mucherla for Bharat Future City, citing a May 28 land‑acquisition notification and tasking the Ranga Reddy administration with the work. Elsewhere in the Future City zone, a July update recorded that 432 acres of patta land were tied up in court across Yacharam, Kandukur and Kadthal — background on disputes, not proof of what applies to these Mucherla parcels. (newcitiesindia.com)
On policy, the government has said Future City/FCDA covers this belt and has publicly promised compensation and jobs for those losing land. A 2025 release quotes the Chief Minister: the government will provide appropriate compensation and employment opportunities in Future City; a 2024 review directed that people and farmers who lost land be involved in Green Pharma City’s development. Planning jurisdiction for Mucherla is also on the record via inclusion in the proposed FCDA area.
