Nani’s biggest opening, three box-office figures later
The Paradise has reportedly delivered Nani’s career-best opening, although trade trackers cannot agree whether Day 1 was worth ₹74.90 crore, ₹76.58 crore or ₹76.90 crore.

Nani’s The Paradise has reportedly opened to the biggest first-day figure of his career. Cinema Express put its India gross at ₹54.90 crore and its worldwide Day 1 total at ₹74.90 crore, including reported paid previews on September 23 before the September 24 theatrical release.
Other trade estimates placed the worldwide opening at ₹76.58 crore and ₹76.90 crore. The arithmetic remains wonderfully flexible: the India figure is broadly similar, while overseas estimates differ. None of the figures reviewed is independently audited through a producer statement, distributor settlement or exhibitor record.
NDTV reported a worldwide gross of ₹98.50 crore after two days, with ₹72.50 crore from India and ₹26 crore overseas. That is a cumulative two-day figure, not the opening-day total. The film, directed by Srikanth Odela and produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri, has therefore achieved the career opening; the exact size of the achievement is still being negotiated by the spreadsheets.
