Ramayana gets MrBeast; the slogan gets top billing
Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and the makers of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana: Part One appeared with Jimmy Donaldson at a Mumbai promotional event. The film’s multilingual release gives Telugu audiences a reason to watch the rollout; the slogan got there first.
The promotional event foregrounded a greeting while the film remained in production.
The promotional machinery for Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana: Part One has acquired a global guest: Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast. He appeared with Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Ravi Dubey, Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra at an event at the DNEG/Prime Focus facility in Mumbai on September 26, 2026, according to multiple reports and event footage.
Video showed Ranbir helping or prompting MrBeast to repeat “Jai Shri Ram”. The reports differ on who first requested the greeting, so the internet may keep litigating the pronunciation while the film remains in production. Sai Pallavi, officially cast as Sita, is the clearest Telugu-audience link; Prime Focus describes the project as a two-part production, with Ranbir as Rama and Yash as Ravana, and Part One slated for 2026.
MrBeast’s appearance is documented. His formal role in the film’s campaign or any commercial collaboration with Malhotra is not. Nor has an audited budget established the recurring claim that Ramayana is India’s most expensive film. The official material confirms Prime Focus Studios, Monster Mind Creations and DNEG as production entities, and Sony Pictures as global distributor outside India. For now, the project has a cast, a release plan and a very well-publicised greeting. The budget remains a claim; the slogan has already had its event.
