Revanth silent, Naidu served?
Harish Rao says a GRMB agenda puts seven Telangana Godavari projects on the table and asks why the Congress CM is quiet. The BJP, for its part, is noisy on TV and missing when it counts.

BRS’s T. Harish Rao on Monday put the Congress government in the dock over river water. Citing a circulated agenda for a Godavari River Management Board meeting on 18 August, he said seven Telangana projects are up for “review” and asked why Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has nothing to say while Andhra Pradesh pushes its case.
According to the report of his presser, the seven listed are Kaleshwaram lifts (240 TMC), Chautupalli Hanumanthareddy lifts (0.8 TMC), Chinnakaleshwaram (4.8 TMC), Chanaka–Korata (1.2 TMC), Modikunta Vagu (2.047 TMC), Kadamgudem lifts (3 TMC) and Sitarama (67.5 TMC). Harish Rao alleged AP wrote to GRMB seeking cancellation or review of permissions, and that the Board put it on the agenda. The alleged AP letter and the GRMB agenda were not published alongside; we have not seen them. What we do have is the BRS leader’s on-record charge sheet, and a Congress government acting like this is someone else’s river.
Harish Rao framed Revanth Reddy’s silence as a favour to the TDP’s N. Chandrababu Naidu — a “gurudakshina”, as he put it — and demanded the Congress disclose whether Telangana’s 47 TMC linked to Sammakka Sagar is being bartered away. Andhra Pradesh, for its part, has said there is no such 47 TMC item on the GRMB agenda; the agenda itself remains unseen in public. The question stands because the Congress government in Telangana hasn’t bothered to answer it.
The BJP does not escape this either. Harish Rao named its Telangana leaders — loud in studio debates, quiet when Delhi’s boards weigh Telangana projects. If the BJP wants credit for federal fairness, it can start with one document: the GRMB paper, in public, before 18 August.
Bottom line: Telangana’s water is the test. The Congress runs this government, and the TDP runs Andhra Pradesh. If the papers say what Harish Rao says they do, the Congress CM needs to fight them, not fetch them tea.
