Session “from Sept 7”, summons missing
Reports peg the Telangana Assembly’s monsoon sitting to September 7. The Congress government talks up September; the Governor’s summons and Legislature bulletin have yet to show up on the record.

Multiple reports say the Assembly’s monsoon session will begin on September 7. They cite media sourcing; an official summons or Legislature Secretariat notice was not published alongside them. The state’s own NeVA page, checked on August 24, still read “House Not In Session” and displayed only the August calendar. So far, the paperwork is where the date is not.
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said last week the House would meet in September and dared K Chandrashekar Rao to attend. He did not name September 7 in that exchange. The Business Advisory Committee is expected to decide duration and agenda after opening day — as per the reports, not an Assembly bulletin.
On the floor, the fight list is already drawn. The BRS has flagged the 22A prohibited-lands mess and warned of stalling the House if, in its view, genuine private properties aren’t cleared. It has also backed government employees raising DA, PRC, EHS and CPS issues. Those are the BRS’s stated plans and allegations; the Congress government has not bothered to put its version on the record in the material reviewed.
One constitutional fact does hold: under Article 174, the Governor summons the legislature. The Governor’s own site explains the role; it does not, as of now, carry a September 7 summons. If the Congress government wants credit for punctuality, it can start by filing the notice.
