The Paradise has reported strong North American advance sales ahead of its premieres.
Telugu film The Paradise, starring Nani and directed by Srikanth Odela, is heading for a strong North American opening — at least according to its distributor’s arithmetic.
Prathyangira Cinemas said North American premiere pre-sales had crossed $1 million before the September 23 premieres. Later trade reports put the figure at about $1.11 million, including a reported US tally of $1,030,368 from 45,610 tickets across 608 locations and 1,599 shows.
Those numbers are advance-sales claims, not audited theatrical collections. The available material does not establish whether the figure is gross or net, how Canada contributed, or whether blocked, cancelled or refunded tickets were included. The distributor later promoted a $1.25 million update.
The film, produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under Sri Lakshmi Venkateshwara Cinemas, is officially scheduled for a worldwide release on September 24, 2026. North American premieres are set for the previous day, because even fictional paradises have advance bookings.
