Kalyanam Kamaniyam Jeevitam arrives with a title that sounds like a wedding invitation approved by six committees, but the film itself appears far more alive. Ravi Lokireddy, with Satish Kumar Sigireddy as co-director, gives this romantic family drama a straightforward, inviting shape: sentiment, humour, music and a touch of mystery, without pretending romance needs to be reinvented every Friday.
Khan Durrani and Sahithi Avancha make an appealing central pair, bringing freshness to a film that depends on emotional sincerity rather than star machinery. Udhay Pulime adds useful support, while the overall making seems to understand that small-scale charm is still a perfectly respectable ambition. The 145-minute runtime is generous, certainly, but the film’s warm tone should make that investment easier for audiences willing to settle in rather than demand their feelings in fast-forward.
The trailer promises accessible entertainment with family appeal, and early audience reactions have been especially kind to the direction, performances, music and presentation. Sri Murali Karthikeya’s songs are already the clearest talking point, giving the film a stronger identity than its modest pre-release buzz might suggest.
