123Telugu has reported that 418 — the Telugu horror written and directed by Kirtan Nadagouda, presented by Prashanth Neel and produced by Mythri Movie Makers — has been postponed from its previously announced July 31, 2026 release. No direct on-record statement from Mythri or the team confirming the theatrical postponement or giving a new date was accessible at the time of writing.

The July 31 date was announced through the makers’ channels on July 19 — “Behind this door lies the beginning of all your fears #418TheFilm Grand Release on July 31st, 2026,” as reproduced in a trade feature — and the film was said to be in post-production by July 20 after principal photography wrapped. An industry listing now omits 418 from upcoming theatrical releases, which is consistent with a move; IMDb still shows July 31, which is not a primary source.

One more breadcrumb: a trailer drop was reportedly pushed on July 25 with the line “some doors are better opened at the right time.” That does not confirm a theatrical delay, but it does rhyme with it. The makers promised scares instead of laughs; the suspense marketing is on schedule.
