Annapurna Studios is expanding into film distribution across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, with a September slate featuring Dulquer Salmaan’s I’m Game, Karthi’s Sardar 2, EPIC – First Semester and Ramba Oorvasi Menaka, according to the studio’s announcement. Annapurna is also said to be involved in both producing and distributing Ramba Oorvasi Menaka. (TeluguCinema)

The studio says it wants to revive a commission-based distribution model and build a “transparent and sustainable distribution ecosystem”. Nagarjuna Akkineni separately said Annapurna had already begun distribution in Nizam and that it was “going successfully”. No commission rate, screen count, exhibitor agreement, settlement structure or financial result has been published. (Cinema Express)

Annapurna’s Hyderabad base and production operations are documented on its official website. The distribution expansion is real; the promised ecosystem is still awaiting its paperwork. (Annapurna Studios)
