Two trade reports disagreed on Chennai Love Story’s opening-day haul in Nizam, and neither showed their math.

One report on July 25 said the film “collected a share of ₹2.15 crore” in Nizam on day one, calling it a strong start for a mid‑range title. It did not name a producer, distributor, exhibitor or a box‑office statement behind the number, nor explain whether premieres were included or how “share” was defined.

A separate trade table the same day listed Nizam at ₹1.29 crore, AP–TS at ₹3.02 crore and a worldwide share of ₹4.18 crore, again without audited backing or methodology.

Meanwhile, a tracker logged ₹2.31 crore India gross for day one (with 1,527 shows across 292 cities) and ₹62.54 lakh from July 23 premiere shows. Those are gross‑tracking figures across participating venues, not a Nizam share, so they don’t settle the discrepancy.

What is settled: the film opened on July 24, stars Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya, is directed by Ravi Namburii, with music by Mani Sharma, and is produced by Sai Rajesh and SKN under the Amrutha Mass JV/Mass Movie Makers banners, with Dheeraj Mogilineni as co‑producer.
