Chiru’s Kaaka lands Jan 13 date
Title glimpse drops on his birthday; Director Bobby Kolli says Kaaka hits theatres Sankranthi, January 13, 2027. Supervisor Satyam clocks in at Ammaji Aqua, Ravulapalem.
Kaaka is scheduled for a January 13, 2027 release.
Chiranjeevi’s #Mega158 now has a name — Kaaka — and a date. The title glimpse released on August 22 introduces “Supervisor Satyam, C/O Ammaji Aqua Industries, Ravulapalem,” and stamps a Sankranthi release: January 13, 2027. That’s not trade gossip; it’s from the makers themselves.
Director Bobby Kolli said Kaaka “will set the bloody benchmark” on big screens this Sankranthi, and Chiranjeevi’s own post repeats the date. KVN Productions is backing the film; its site lists the project as MEGA 158. This reunites Chiranjeevi and Bobby after Waltair Veerayya, which did the simple thing politicians avoid — deliver what it promised: masala.
The glimpse shows a key fished out of a water tank with an electromagnet, weapons tagging along, and the keychain reading “I love dad,” before cutting to a younger, flashier Chiranjeevi. Reports describe two contrasting avatars; nobody on record is calling it a dual role yet.
Plot, roles for Anaswara Rajan and Nivetha Pethuraj, runtime and languages are still under wraps. The Congress-BJP-TDP circuit can keep arguing over credit for cinema “ecosystems”; the only on-record date in this story is January 13, 2027.
