A 42-year-old man from Hasnabad village in Jagtial Urban mandal has been reported killed in Russian strikes on Ukraine, according to two Telangana-focused reports published on September 2, 2026.

The reports identify him as Vavila Sudarshan and Vavilala Sudarshan Goud, respectively. They say he had travelled to Ukraine about four months earlier seeking work, after previously doing shuttering work in his village. One report says the family learnt of his death through Venu, a Thatipelli resident living in Ukraine.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that Russian ballistic missiles and drones struck Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities on September 1. A Ukrainian account cited in one report said 12 people were killed in the wider attack. Neither the presidential statement nor an official casualty list located in the research names Sudarshan.

The reports have not established his exact place of death, and the Indian Embassy, consular authorities and Jagtial district administration have not publicly confirmed the death in the material reviewed. The name, meanwhile, has already acquired two spellings. War is chaotic; official records should not be.
