Malayalam hit arrives in Telugu; ‘worldwide’ waits
Bethlehem Kudumba Unit opened its Telugu and Tamil dubbed releases on September 4, with Hyderabad early-morning shows advertised. The global footprint remains a claim, not a map.
The film opened in Hyderabad on September 4; an international territory list was not published in the material reviewed.
Malayalam film Bethlehem Kudumba Unit reached Telugu-speaking audiences on September 4, with early-morning shows advertised in Hyderabad and a promotional post announcing a release across the Telugu states. A Telugu review published after release also said premieres had been held the previous day. The film’s Tamil dubbed version was announced for the same date. (NDTV; Cinema Express)
The film stars Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju, and is directed by Girish AD. The Malayalam original released on August 21. NTV Telugu reported that Nivin Pauly had described the Telugu release as “worldwide” in a social-media announcement. That remains a promotional claim: no territory list, overseas distributor details or international screen count has been published in the material reviewed.
There is also a small distribution fog. Cinema Express identified Future Runup Films for Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, while promotional material reproduced by NDTV credited Mythri Movie Distributors for the Telugu states and Primark Productions for Tamil Nadu. The relationship between those arrangements is not explained. For now, Hyderabad has the screenings. The rest of the world has a press line.
