Mythri’s 418 promised July 31. Did it open?
The Prashanth Neel-presented Telugu horror was announced for a July 31, 2026 theatrical release. The posts are on record; the screenings aren’t — yet.
The announced July 31 release awaits confirmation from the listings.
Mythri Movie Makers announced 418 — a Telugu horror written and directed by debutant Kirtan Nadagouda and presented by Prashanth Neel — for a worldwide theatrical release on July 31, 2026. The date came via Mythri’s official social post on July 19, which also carried the tagline: “Behind this door lies the beginning of all your fears.” Reports the next day repeated the same date and credits, naming Surya Raj, Charan Lakkaraju and Preethi Pagadala in the cast.
What those reports did not add is plot detail — because none was officially disclosed — or any box-office arithmetic. Cinema Express said in mid-July the film was in the final stages of post-production; Hollywood Reporter India called it Mythri’s first foray into horror and listed Naveen Yerneni, Anil Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar as producers.
It is now August 1. The paperwork shows July 31. Whether the door actually opened yesterday — screens, shows, Hyderabad bookings, receipts — is not established in the material reviewed. The hype machine can wait; the listing board decides.
