NTR on the bench, film date holds
Team says six–eight weeks’ rest for a shoulder injury; no word of a schedule change for Dragon’s June 11, 2027 date.
The actor has been advised six to eight weeks of complete rest; the film’s announced release date remains June 11, 2027.
Jr NTR’s team said on July 27 he suffered a shoulder injury and, after a medical evaluation, has been advised complete rest for six to eight weeks. The statement names Dr J. Madhusudan Rao and Dr R. A. Purnachandra Tejaswi as the doctors who led the assessment, and adds there is “absolutely no cause for panic.”
The update does not say where or how the injury happened. It also does not announce any pause or change to Dragon — the Prashanth Neel film with Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts — whose theatrical date remains June 11, 2027 in the material reviewed. If that changes, it won’t be because a Delhi press conference declared it so.
NTR’s team said further official updates will follow when appropriate. For now, the actor rests; the release date stays put — which is more than you can say for most political promises.
