NTR told: 6–8 weeks off
Team says shoulder injury on July 27; doctors advise complete rest. No word yet on Dragon’s schedule — and no need for panic, they add.
The production schedule remains unclear as NTR is advised six to eight weeks of complete rest.
NTR has been advised complete rest for six to eight weeks after a shoulder injury on Monday, July 27, according to a statement attributed to his team and reproduced in a report. The team said doctors J. Madhusudan Rao and R. A. Purnachandra Tejaswi examined him after the injury and recommended the break to ensure full recovery, adding there was “absolutely no cause for panic.”
The statement does not say how the injury happened or provide a diagnosis. It also does not say whether filming for Dragon, directed by Prashanth Neel, is paused or being reshuffled. The makers had earlier announced June 11, 2027 as the worldwide release date for Dragon.
For fans in Telangana, the facts are simple: recover first, film after. The Congress-BJP-TDP noise machine can save the theatrics for Parliament; the only schedule that matters right now is the doctor’s.
