The account was suspended soon after. The view counter is for the post, not confirmed full-film streams — a distinction X remains shy about clarifying.
Universal said it “became aware of the unauthorized posting of the film and immediately initiated takedown protocols,” adding it would “pursue all appropriate remedies” to protect its rights. The studio has not announced any lawsuit or specific enforcement beyond the removals.
The box office didn’t flinch. Estimates after the second weekend put The Odyssey at $639.6 million worldwide — about $286.4 million in North America and $353.2 million internationally. In India, trade estimates peg 10‑day totals at ₹119.65 crore net (₹142.86 crore gross). These are tracking numbers, not audited accounts, but they show what matters: audiences still went.
