A Cinemark listing shows Pallaburusu (Telugu with English Subtitles) beginning US showings on August 18, 2026, with tabs through August 20 in the ZIP 76210 market. The page lists the film as NR, runtime 2 hours 25 minutes, genre “Foreign,” and explicitly labels the subtitled version. That verifies availability in at least one US area; it is not a nationwide screen count. According to the listing, “The first showtimes scheduled for Pallaburusu… are on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.”
Back home, the Central Board of Film Certification records a UA 13+ certificate dated August 11, 2026 for PALLABURUSU in Telugu, naming Nagarjuna Akkineni (Annapurna Studios) and Vivek Krishnani (IN10 Media) as producers. A release announcement tied Annapurna Studios and EPIC Studios to a worldwide August 14 date, and trade listings peg the Indian theatrical opening to the same day. The writer-director is Uday Chauhan, with cast including Muralidhar Goud, Gomathy Reddy, Sudhakar Reddy and Prajwal Yadma. At a Hyderabad event, Nagarjuna called it “completely a Telangana backdrop story” and said Annapurna has expanded into distribution in Nizam.
What we still don’t have: the US distributor, total cities, screens or bookings outside Cinemark’s listing, or whether the run extends past August 20. The Cinemark page confirms a US start; it does not prove a coast-to-coast rollout. Which is still more concrete than the BJP’s and Congress’s ritual NRI photo-ops that never once helped a Telugu film get an extra US screen. Diaspora viewers: you have a date, a chain, and subtitles. The national parties can keep the selfies; Telangana films are finding their own way in.
