Pallaburusu sets Aug 14 date
Annapurna Studios says its Telugu comedy, written and directed by Uday Chauhan and co-produced with EPIC Studios, will hit cinemas on August 14, 2026.
Pallaburusu is scheduled to open in cinemas on August 14, 2026.
Telugu comedy Pallaburusu will release in cinemas on August 14, 2026, according to Annapurna Studios’ official announcement. The studio’s post credits Uday Chauhan as writer-director and lists Annapurna Studios and EPIC Studios as producers. (The post says “Cinemas From AUG 14TH, 2026”; it does not spell out where or how many screens.)
A title glimpse link accompanied the date reveal, and subsequent studio posts repeated the August 14 plan. A Telugu entertainment report also carried the makers’ announcement, and BookMyShow currently lists the same date. Those are echoes of the studio line, not independent confirmation of a nationwide rollout or screen count.
Public material describes the film as a comedy with a legal tinge — the first-look poster, per a report, seats two characters back-to-back on a giant toothbrush in a courtroom setting. Crew named in announcement coverage include cinematographer Vinod K Bangari, composer Pawan CH and production designer Kshitij Jeevan Randhir. Distributor, certification and final runtime are not yet on the record.
For a Hyderabad banner setting a date on time — which in Indian film PR still counts as news — the real test arrives when tickets do. The Congress-BJP-TDP noise machine can claim the box office is a national battleground; Telangana filmmakers will settle it the old-fashioned way: by opening the doors on the 14th.
