Pawan’s OG sequel gets a Samurai dawn

The next OG project has arrived with a Samurai, a Yakuza-flavoured tagline and no release date — cinema’s favourite recurring character.
Director Sujeeth shared a birthday video on September 2 for Pawan Kalyan, who turned 55, linking it to the “OG Universe”. The nearly one-and-a-half-minute promo features an animated Samurai-styled Pawan Kalyan and footage of Pawan, Sujeeth and composer Thaman S discussing the project, according to Filmfare. It ends with “Samurai Reimei”; an ANI-syndicated report gives the longer wording as “Samurai Reimei, Yakuza Mekai”, or “Samurai Dawn, Yakuza Hell”.
Pawan is heard urging the team to give its best. ANI’s version calls it their “lifetime best”, while TV9 Telugu carries the shorter Telugu wording, approximately “Let’s give our best output”. The reported sequel is being referred to as OG Part 2, but Sujeeth’s post itself says “OG Universe” and “OG”, not a confirmed formal title. No release date, shoot start date, full cast or plot has been announced in the material reviewed. The promo has supplied the dawn. The calendar is still waiting for its own entrance.
