Priyanka Mohan is returning to the Tamil-Telugu crossroads with #AGS29, AGS Entertainment’s new thriller starring her and Jai. The banner announced the project on September 6, naming MS Anandan as writer-director and Ravi Basrur as composer. The final title, naturally, is still on leave.
The announcement’s main wording calls it “a gripping thriller”. A report on the first poster says it appears to suggest a crime-thriller setup involving Braille, but that is an interpretation of the poster, not a published synopsis. Characters, language versions, locations, release date and Priyanka’s role remain undisclosed.
Yogi Babu, Nassar and Rajiv Menon are also reported to be part of the cast. KT Balasubramaniem is the cinematographer, Pradeep E Ragav the editor and Kannan the art director, according to the same coverage.
Priyanka brings a Telugu connection through films including Gang Leader and Sreekaram. No Telugu version or bilingual release has been announced. For now, #AGS29 has a cast, a crew and a clue. The title is still being workshopped.
