Set the alarm or don’t sleep: reports quoting producer Namit Malhotra say Ramayana: Part 1 will drop its trailer worldwide on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 4:15 am IST — “at the auspicious Brahma Muhurat.” The original July 24 launch was announced and then pushed; the makers did not give a reason when they postponed it.
The new timing and date are carried as Malhotra’s fresh social‑media announcement by multiple reports. The earlier July 24 plan came from the film’s official “The World Of Ramayana” handle, also carried in reporting.
Nitesh Tiwari directs; Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash lead as Ram, Sita and Ravana, with Sunny Deol among the wider cast. Part 1 is slated for a Diwali 2026 theatrical release and Part 2 for Diwali 2027, according to the makers’ materials reproduced in reports.
