Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s Ranabaali has a teaser date, a theatrical date and, for now, a respectable amount of mystery left intact. Mythri Movie Makers announced that the teaser, titled “The Savage’s Oath”, would release on September 9 at 4:05 p.m. The film’s worldwide theatrical release was set for October 16, 2026.
The makers’ announcement described the film as the story of “a cursed land” and a “rebellious chieftain”. Those are promotional descriptions, not yet historical findings. Rahul Sankrityan is directing, with Arnold Vosloo also listed among the cast and Ajay–Atul credited for the music, according to 123telugu.
Ranabaali had earlier been listed for September 11, 2026. India Today reported the move to October 16 and linked it to Rashmika Mandanna’s reported injury, but the makers’ announcement did not give a reason. Whether October 16 is finally locked, or merely the next date on the calendar awaiting its own sequel, remains unconfirmed.
