Ravi Teja’s Irumudi picks Aug 21

Shiva Nirvana directs, Mythri produces. The makers have put a date on it; the rest of the August ‘race’ stays trade chatter until someone shows a calendar.

A photorealistic Hyderabad cinema marquee displays the title ‘Irumudi’ above a calendar page marked August 21, while empty neighbouring boards await other release announcements.

Irumudi is scheduled for a worldwide release on August 21.

Ravi Teja will land in theatres on August 21 with Irumudi — a Shiva Nirvana film backed by Mythri Movie Makers — after the makers announced the date for a worldwide release. Music is by G. V. Prakash Kumar, with Priya Bhavani Shankar and child actor Baby Nakshatra in the cast.

Trade coverage first parked Irumudi in the August window in late May when the film was still shooting in Hyderabad. Since then the team wrapped principal work, moved to dubbing in July, and kept the August 21 plan in view while post-production ran. A dubbing-room clip pushed a father–daughter premise; it was promotion, not a synopsis.

August being ‘crowded’ is still an assessment, not a dataset. Who else opens where, how many screens are actually in play, and who splits weekends with whom are all unconfirmed here. The film has a date; the rest of the arithmetic can wait for facts.
