Telugu cinema is scheduled to arrive in Australian cinemas with Romanchakam on September 3, 2026. HOYTS lists the film as “Romanchakam (Telugu, Eng Sub)” in its Indian Cinema section and describes it as a romantic comedy and suspense film directed by debutant T. Venugopal Reddy.
Australia’s Classification website records the film as PG, classified on August 31. It names Venu Gopal Reddy as director, Pranay Reddy Vanga as producer and Bhadrakali Productions as the production company. The classification application was made by Prathyangira Cinemas Pty Ltd.
A separate Telstra movie listing also gives September 3 as the scheduled release date and names Sumanth Prabhas and Ananthika Sanilkumar in the cast, with Sandeep Reddy Vanga presenting it under the Bhadrakali Pictures banner. The available listings do not establish the number of Australian cinemas, actual screenings, ticket sales or audience response. The paperwork, at least, has travelled ahead of the box office.
