Telugu streaming gets a neatly odd double feature this week: a rural Telangana-set family dispute over a toothbrush, followed by a Rayalaseema man possessed by a Korean spirit. Cinema Express listed Pallaburusu for Prime Video on September 2, 2026, and described it as a Telangana-set dramedy. Prime Video lists Sudhakar Reddy, Muralidhar Goud and Prajwal Yadma in the cast, with Uday Chauhan directing.
The platform’s synopsis says Shambo, a widower, sues his son after being neglected when he asks for a toothbrush for a toothache. Cinema Express gives the character’s age as 68; Prime Video says 70. Even the toothbrush has encountered inconsistent paperwork.
Korean Kanakaraju begins streaming on Netflix on September 4, according to Cinema Express. Netflix describes Varun Tej’s character as possessed by a Korean spirit and trying to protect his family while solving the spirit’s murder. Ritika Nayak and Satya Akkala also star, with Merlapaka Gandhi directing. Netflix lists Telugu as the original audio and also offers Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam audio.
