The Paradise has advance bookings, not a record yet

Nani’s film releases on September 24. The dollar figures doing the rounds remain trade claims, not audited box-office data.

A single advance-booking cinema ticket sits beneath a large balloon labelled 'RECORD?' being inflated by a publicity hand, beside an unopened folder marked 'Audited data'.

Advance bookings for The Paradise are open; the record claim remains unconfirmed.

Nani’s The Paradise is set for a worldwide theatrical release on September 24, with advance bookings open in North America. Cinemark lists the Telugu film with English subtitles and advance tickets, including shows scheduled from September 23. VOX Cinemas also lists the September 24 release date.

The larger numbers are less solid. Trade reports have put US pre-sales first at $50,000 and later at $100,000. One report called the latter a North American Telugu-cinema record. No distributor, producer, studio or theatre-chain statement reviewed for this report independently confirms those figures or the record claim.

The public Cinemark listing confirms ticket availability, not tickets sold, booking value, occupancy or the number of venues and shows. A later report claimed $150,000, but supplied no primary confirmation and did not explain how the earlier figures were measured. The film has advance bookings. The record remains in the publicity department.
