Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups is listed for a theatrical release on August 26 — a date that shows up with UK distributors, in US chains and on a German cinema schedule. According to the makers’ announcement reproduced in a business daily, nationwide advance bookings opened on August 21 and the film rolls out in multiple languages. Director: Geethu Mohandas. What is confirmed on the ground: overseas listings already carry Telugu shows, with US showtimes beginning August 25 and the release dated August 26. Treat runtimes as provisional until a censor or distributor record lands.
What is still marketing, not a ledger: trade chatter of “around 12,000 screens worldwide”, and claims about an English version via Lionsgate. Both are reported, neither is backed by a primary distributor document in the record we can see. No audited booking totals, ticket counts or Telangana screen allocations have been published.
For Hyderabad and the Telangana belt, the question that matters is where and how many shows open in Telugu and Kannada, and how the weekend splits across multiplexes and single screens. Those figures haven’t been put on the record yet. Until they are, the only settled date is August 26, and the only settled fact is that tickets have gone on sale.
