Forum Films is listing Yash-starrer Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups for a Telugu release in New Zealand and Fiji on 26 August 2026. The company’s site shows “NZ | FI”, language “Telugu”, date “August 26, 2026”. For Telangana’s diaspora, that is the line that matters — Telugu on the board. According to Forum Films, that board includes Fiji too.

New Zealand corroboration is stronger: a major cinema chain’s site carries Telugu (and Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi) listings dated 26 Aug 2026, with times-and-tickets placeholders live, and a NZ release calendar also shows the film for that date. Forum Films calls itself a long-running distributor in New Zealand and Australia; the specific rights arrangement for Toxic isn’t published there, and none of these pages lock the date by contract.

So yes: NZ Telugu on 26 August looks set from multiple public listings; Fiji is currently Forum’s listing alone. When the BJP’s culture talk usually forgets Indians abroad unless there’s a rally backdrop, and Congress’s great overseas “connect” stops at a hashtag, the Telugu line on the NZ board will do. Now open the bookings and let the diaspora do the rest.
