Toxic’s overseas gross grows by update
Forum Films confirms the Telugu release in New Zealand and Fiji. The bigger overseas number remains a trade-tracker estimate, not an audited account.
The overseas release is confirmed; the larger gross remains a tracker estimate.
Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups reached cinemas in New Zealand and Fiji on August 26, according to distributor Forum Films. Its listing identifies Telugu as the main language and names venues including Event Cinemas, Hoyts, Reading Cinemas, Damodar City and Life Cinemas. The rollout, unlike the accounting, has paperwork.
Sacnilk first reported ₹16.25 crore in overseas gross and ₹137 crore worldwide on day one. A later update put the overseas figure at ₹20 crore and the worldwide total at ₹140.75 crore. Other reports repeated the later figures, attributing them to the same tracker. That is repetition, not independent verification.
The material reviewed contains no territory-wise admissions, exhibitor settlement data, distributor statement or audited breakdown from Forum Films, KVN Productions or the listed cinema chains. The film’s planned six-language release—Kannada, English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam—is supported by KVN Productions’ channel listing, but Forum Films’ New Zealand and Fiji entry is specifically marked Telugu. The overseas number has travelled further than the evidence.
