Telugu film Veta was launched at a pooja ceremony at Ramanaidu Studio in Hyderabad on August 31, with Sandeep Saroj and Satwika Jampa in the lead. Ashok Kotipalli is making his directorial debut.

Produced by Phani Adapaka and Jayalakshmi Adapaka under Shree Radha Damodar Studios, in association with ETV WIN Originals, the film was presented as an “untold tale from the heartlands of Godavari”. Producer Phani Adapaka described it as “not just a rural story” but a commercial film with a natural village backdrop. The description is promotional for now: the makers have not identified the specific Godavari locations, confirmed whether the film will be shot there or released a plot synopsis.

Konidela Nagendra Babu handed over the script for the muhurtham shot, while K.S. Ravi Kumar performed the clap. The supporting cast includes Rajeev Kanakala, Raghu Babu and Ravindra Vijay. The title has been linked in reports to an earlier Chiranjeevi film, although the team says its relevance to this story will be explained later. For now, even the hunt remains under wraps.
