Zombies at Charminar. 2027, they say
People Media Factory drops ‘Zombie Reddy 2 – NXT LVL’ with Teja Sajja back, Upendra and Shanaya Kapoor added. Hyderabad gets the undead treatment in the title clip, per reports. The plan: seven languages, 2027. The fine print: it’s a makers’ announcement, not a schedule.
People Media Factory has announced Zombie Reddy 2 – NXT LVL for a planned 2027 release.
People Media Factory has announced Zombie Reddy 2 – NXT LVL, timed to Teja Sajja’s birthday on 23 August 2026, with the production house promising it will be “bigger, badder & bloodier.” According to the title-announcement listing, Suparn S Varma directs, Prasanth Varma is creator, and TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad produce under People Media Factory. The credited cast: Teja Sajja, Upendra and Shanaya Kapoor. Music is by Gowra Hari.
The makers say they are aiming for a 2027 release and a multilingual rollout — Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Nepali and Japanese. No date yet, no distribution partners named. Reports describe the title video as setting the zombie action in Hyderabad, including the Charminar; we’re treating that as the video’s reported content until the studio publishes fuller material.
File this under Tollywood doing the scale while Delhi does slogans. The Congress–BJP routine will claim “pan-Indian” in a press meet; Hyderabad’s studios generally just ship the work. Now, over to People Media Factory to move it from title card to theatres — and not leave 2027 as another “coming soon.”
