Telangana’s Assembly closed after recording power and rainfall concerns, while the government’s assurances remain ahead of the public evidence.

Telangana’s Assembly adjourned sine die at 7:56 p.m. on September 18, after an eight-day session that ran for 51 hours and 52 minutes. The September 19 date belongs to the report, not the adjournment. Even calendars got better scrutiny than some promises this week.
The House discussed rainfall deficit, El Niño, agriculture, water, drinking water and electricity. It also adopted a resolution seeking Union support, including a reported Rs 20,000 crore package, crop-loss assistance, 1,500 MW of additional power and 50 lakh tonnes of coal. Power demand reached a reported 19,543 MW on September 9, according to Telangana government energy information reproduced in public coverage. The government said the demand was met. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy separately said the state was planning to prevent disruption to drinking water and electricity. But the public record consulted does not establish district-level water supply, farm-power continuity, reservoir status or delivery of the requested support. The House has made the request. The Centre has yet to make the answer as visible.
