‘Lucky Bhaskar’ CM gets a BRS charge sheet

BRS MLA and former minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy used a Telangana Bhavan press conference on September 19 to accuse Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, the Telangana police and Congress leaders over the reported mobilisation near K Chandrashekhar Rao’s Erravelli residence.
Vemula called Revanth Reddy a “Lucky Bhaskar” chief minister and alleged that Congress activists had tried to reach KCR’s residence under the cover of a “death drum” protest. He accused the police of acting at the chief minister’s behest and demanded action against Congress MLAs Veerlapalli Shankar and Vemula Veeresham over alleged remarks and threats. These are BRS allegations, not established findings.
A separate report said Congress legislators and activists reached the vicinity of the residence on September 8, while BRS leaders travelled there after learning of the mobilisation. The material reviewed does not establish that an attack was planned, that Revanth Reddy directed it, or that police assisted it.
