Mana Panel wins 12 seats; TFPC still missing one answer
C Kalyan is president and the Mana Panel controls most reported posts, but the General Secretary result remains tied to a court process nobody has publicly finished explaining.
The TFPC has announced most winners; the General Secretary result remains unresolved in the available record.
The Telugu Film Producers Council has a new president and a decidedly Mana-coloured executive committee. C Kalyan was elected president unopposed, while Mana Panel candidates won 12 of the 15 Executive Committee seats in the September 6 election, according to reported results.
Mana also took the Treasurer’s post through Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao, both Joint Secretary posts and one Vice-President position. The other Vice-President post went to Progressive Panel candidate Damodara Prasad. The Progressive Panel also won three Executive Committee seats. So “clean sweep” is doing slightly more work than the numbers allow.
The General Secretary result, however, remains unresolved in the available record. Reports say the result was sealed for submission to a court, but the court order, case number and final announcement could not be confirmed. C Kalyan described the victory as a “95% majority”; that is his claim, not a published vote statistic. The council has announced the winners. It has not yet supplied the paperwork for the last important question.
