Nani’s The Paradise opened overseas on September 24 with a reported $2.3 million, including a claimed $1.42 million from North American premieres. The figures come from trade coverage, not a producer statement, distributor settlement or audited database. Bollywood can keep its box-office spreadsheets; Telugu cinema still prefers a little mystery with its arithmetic.
The film, directed by Srikanth Odela and produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under SLV Cinemas, had recorded $1.11 million in North American advance premiere sales before release, including $1.03 million in the United States, according to a pre-release trade report. That surpassed Nani’s earlier reported North American premiere pre-sales record of $870,000 for HIT: The Third Case.
A trade report called the $2.3 million figure Nani’s biggest overseas opener. That broader record claim remains unverified: the period covered, territories included and accounting basis have not been disclosed. Other reports put the film’s overseas total at Rs 20–22 crore, but those figures are not independently audited either.
