The Paradise reaches the US; receipts remain elsewhere
Nani’s film has US screenings and reported North American advances, but the bigger overseas numbers remain promotional claims.

Nani’s The Paradise reached the US diaspora ahead of its September 24 release, with overseas premieres scheduled for September 23. Cinemark lists the Telugu film with English subtitles, while Harkins shows it at multiple locations across Arizona, California, Colorado and Oklahoma. The diaspora gets the film; the spreadsheet is still pending.
Prathyangira Cinemas, the overseas distributor, promoted North American premiere pre-sales of “$1 million and counting”. Trade trackers and the distributor reported advances of about $1.11 million. That is an advance-booking figure, not a settled box-office collection. It does not say whether the number includes taxes, fees, blocked seats or refunds. Cinema arithmetic remains less cinematic than the publicity.
The campaign has also circulated claims of more than 1,200 overseas locations and $1.5 million in pre-sales. The research reviewed did not independently verify either figure. US screenings are confirmed; equivalent primary listings for the UK, Canada and Australia were not located. The film is directed by Srikanth Odela, produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under SLV Cinemas, and distributed overseas by Prathyangira Cinemas LLC. The overseas release is documented.
