Secunderabad reaches Australia on September 24
Nani’s Telugu film The Paradise is listed for sessions by HOYTS and Event Cinemas, with one small problem: even its runtime has two versions.
The Paradise is listed for Australian screenings from September 24, with two different runtimes.
Telugu cinema is taking 1980s Secunderabad to Australia, where Nani’s The Paradise is listed for theatrical sessions from September 24, 2026. HOYTS lists it as “The Paradise (Telugu, Eng Sub)” and describes the story as set in 1980s Secunderabad. Event Cinemas also lists the film for September 24 and names Nani in the cast. Event’s cinema pages show sessions at locations including Burwood, Top Ryde City, Mt Gravatt, Marion, Glendale, Innaloo and Hornsby. HOYTS’ Chadstone page lists Thursday sessions at 6pm, 8.50pm, 9pm and 9.15pm, with the 8.50pm and 9.15pm sessions marked “Selling Fast”. The listings disagree on runtime: HOYTS says 186 minutes, while Event says 174. Australia has confirmed the screenings. It has not, however, confirmed which clock it intends to use.
